TSF Worldwide Logistics Build Rules
1) You must apply for unit numbers for each model you build, Tractors, straight trucks, shop and office vehicles, trailers and dollies.
2) Trucks and tractors will be painted French blue from the top of the fenders / wheel wells up. If you so desire you will be allowed up to (2) 1/8” stripes above the fenders in the blue.
3) Trucks and tractors will be painted Silver from the tops of the wheel wells down.
4) Truck and tractor frame built before 1990 will have French Blue frames. 1991 can be either French Blue or Black. 1992 and above will have black frames.
5) Trailers
A) Vans will be either White, French Blue and is the case of some older ones Chrome will be accepted but on the chrome trailers the top and bottom rub rails will be French Blue.
B) Flat beds of any type French Blue or Black
C) Tankers will be chrome or aluminum (polished or dull), White, or painted to match the tractor scheme.
D) Trailer Dollies either solid French Blue or Solid Silver
6) Service vehicles not including cars painted like the trucks and tractors.
Unit Numbers
1) Tractors with sleepers: displayed on the left and right sides of the hood near the top leading edge. It will also be displayed on the back of the sleeper near the roof line and center left to right.
2) Tractor Day Cab: same as above on the hood and the back of the cab centered above the rear window.
3) Straight trucks: On both sides of the hood as listed above and on the top left corner of the rear door.
4) Pick-up trucks: Left and right sides of the cowl
5) All van trailers the unit numbers will be displayed on the top left and right front sides and on the top left side of the rear door.
6) Tankers: Left and right front sides and centered on the curvature of the tank – if there is a marker light in this location than it will go above that. On the rear of the tanker it will be place top center of the circumference.
7) Trailer dollies: Unit numbers will be on the tongue 6mm behind the pintle hook eye.
All unit numbers will be black in color unless they are on a black flatbed then they will be white. Unit numbers will be a minimum of 3mm high.
